Glutard

Last night the boy and I headed out for a simple 5 mile run but with one condition: To run over the Queensboro bridge. 

I did the research and if we ran half way over the bridge we would run an even 5. Well, the act of actually finding the pedestrian entrance was slightly tricky, so I stopped to ask a traffic police women and she was SO MEAN. She acted like I had asked her what 1+1 was! I clearly am still annoyed but we did find the right way not to get hit by cars, maneuver around the construction and entered the path. I loved it! You could see Manhattan, there were cars and the subway zipping around you. I was so excited that I did not notice we were running up hill till we had turned around at our mid-point.
