A simple rule that I put in place after ruining the day of one unknown homeless man or woman. I won’t go in any details but you are smart and can imagine. Imagine the worse. Today was not as bad as the day I came up with my rule but man did my 4.5 miles hurt today. Overall, I ran just under a 9 minute pace which I am very happy about.
Tomorrow I need to buck up and go for a 10 mile run. I am so nervous. I keep putting off my long runs and it is because of fear. I have not run that long since my half marathon in December and I am scared my gluten tummy will not be able to hold up. Since I am new here I do not have “safe” routes and I really have no idea where to run. It really all comes down to me simply trying. If I fail, I fail and that has to be ok.
On a positive note, I am running my first race of the year next Saturday! I am starting to get excited! :)
