I left today determined to run slower. Everywhere I read these days it speaks bout the importance of slow long recovery runs. I want to do slow long recovery runs and yet I promise you I did not feel like I was pushing it today. Maybe I have uncovered a hump, maybe I am finally getting back into shape, maybe I am going to crash and learn this weekend. I think training wise this is a well placed race. I need a good speed work out check in. Sure, Sure, crowds, weather- these will all be things but I really need to see if I am over doing it or finally finding speed again.
6.55 miles @ an 8.47 overall pace. Tomorrow another 4 or 5 and on Sunday- an answer.
