Glutard

The other day I mentioned that we saw a mouse and needed to set some rat poison, well today the landlord came over and set that poison down. It only took about 10 minutes after the poison was placed for our little guy to dig it out of it’s hiding space and eat to those blocks. After a few phone calls and some “were so scared” slightly heated conversations we were off to the vet. At the vet they induced vomiting and now are keeping our Alfie till much later tonight. The vet seems to think he should be ok and we picked up the rest of the poison but I am a mess. 

I just want a constant hug. It is so amazing how attached we become to our animals. I hated hearing him cry as he was made to puke. I am crying just thinking about it.  

In any event, I took a rest day today because I did not eat anything until around 3 pm and I have to be at my very part time restaurant job for training at 7. I could have snuck  a run in there and maybe I should have but it is what it is.
