I recently read an article about Kristen Bell in SELF and I was pleasantly surprised. In the article she says something to the effect if “why would I hate my body?” and then goes on to say that she has days where she calls her friends and says stupid things like “I feel ugly” and she also admits that she has a therapist to talk things out with. As a student of psychology and an avid believer that all women need to stop the negative talk (myself included) I found this article refreshing. How awesome is it that she admits how human she is! I just wanted to scream YES BE HUMAN!
I am being human and rocking a cold. My body is reacting to my new part time job and the funny hours I sleep now but in a few weeks it will all calm down and become a routine. I am still doing my best to get a run in and I have the added bonus of walking two miles every day that I work.
Today 4 miles at a 9:30 pace, plus my walk. Hope you are all being human. Cut yourself some slack.
